Beloved Mr. Elisha J. Love was born July 16, 1957, to the late Mr. Elisha Love and Mrs. Ruthie Bell Lowe- Love, of Bolton, MS which preceded him in death. He is the first of five children born to this union. One brother Aaron Love also precedes him in death.

Elisha Love accepted Christ earlier in Life and was baptized at Good Hope M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Reverand S. L. Slaughter. His career kept him from fulfilling his promise to God he Later he came back home repented and restored back into fellowship under the leadership of Pastor John A. Curtis. He served faithfully as a choir member and a deacon until his health failed.

Elisha Love graduated from Sumner Hill High School, Clinton, MS. He attended Milsaps College. He graduated from New Foundation Theological Seminary, Terry, MS with the degrees of;  BS of Theology, Master of Theology and Ph.D. of Theology. 

In 2005, he married the love of his life, Sarah A. Thurman, Elisha, completed his earthly travel on Thursday, July 12, 2018, with his loving and devoted wife and son Ezekiel at his side.

Arrangments are as followed:

Visitation Hours will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Peoples Funeral Home between the hours of 12-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Good Hope Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. located at 1828 Cox Ferry Road in Madison, MS. Interment will follow at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
