Mr. Michael (Mike/"Mr. Fat Jack") Haralson was born on August 16, 1962, in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Alfonso Sr. and River Lee Haralson. He was the eighth of nine children's. Mike's father, Alfonso Sr. and brother, L.T. preceded him in death.
Mike was a graduate of Murrah High School class of 1981. He was a trainer and manager for Murrah High School football team. He was also a phenomenal track runner of the Mustangs. During that time, Mike and three of his teammates broke the city and state records in the 400 relay. He attended Hinds Community College, Jackson, MS for Stonemasonry in 1984.
Mike accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Jackson, Mississippi, under the leadership of Rev. James McClenty. Mike was blessed with musical gifts. He started writing songs in his head at the age of twelve. He learned to play the guitar in his early twenties. He wrote and produced several songs and music videos, some that are featured on the internet. His most notable works are Ronnie McElroy and Pretty Girl. His music was played on WMPR Radio.
Mike was employed with Wabash Boxing Co. and Great Southern in Jackson, MS. He was a construction worker until he became disabled. On Thursday, October 4, 2018, Miker Earl, transitioned his early life journey peacefully.

Visitation hours are set for Wednesday, October 10, 2018, between the hours of 12-7 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at St John M.B. Church at 11:00 a.m. located at 489+5 Medgar Evers Blvd. Jackson, MS 39213. Interment will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Flora, Mississippi.
