Mrs. Ernestine Robinson Jackson was born September 7, 1939, in Canton, MS to the late Robert and Willie Mae Robinson. She was an only child, given the nickname "Cat" by her grandmother.
She was employed by Mississippi State Hospital as a CNA until the birth of her twins in 1972. She was a quiet-modest lady, who absolutely loved the Lord, and helping others. She was a proud supporter of Shriners Hospital for Children.
Her favorite pastimes were being surrounded by her grandchildren, reading the Bible, playing solitaire, crocheting, and working puzzle books. She was an avid murder mystery and Golden Girls enthusiast, who liked sugar, honey, ice tea, and cheesecake! Affectionately known as "Sugapuss" by her great-grandchildren, she would spend hours just watching cartoons with them.
