Mrs. Fonda Kaye Crump Christopher was born November 1,1967 to William and Mable Crump Sr. Kaye confessed her faith at an early age at Solomon Temple Church and later rededicating to Northside Baptist Church. Kaye grew up in Jackson, MS and attended the Jackson Public School Systems, graduating from Lanier High School in 1985. Kaye also Attended Coaster Training Institute in 1986 and studied Graphic Design. Kaye worked as a florist but assisted her family, neighbors and friends in various ways. Kay was intelligent, big on family. She was a friend to everyone she met, never encountered a stranger and there was never a dull moment when she was around. She was affectionately known as “K.K” to her family and friends.
In 1986 she married Waggner Christopher Sr. and to this union two children were born Shatina and Waggner Jr. Kaye was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. After separating from her husband, she continued to raise her children and care for her family. Although her health started to decline, she still continued to care for others until the weight became impossible to bear. She was loved by many and she loved all. Her favorite words were “I hate to bother you but...” Kaye ended her earthly life peacefully on July 26,2019 at UMMC in Jackson, MS. Kaye preceded in death by both her Grandparents, her special Godmother, Mrs. Susie Sutton and a host of aunts and uncles.
Kaye leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Waggner Christopher Sr.; both parents William and Mable Crump Sr.; her daughter, Shatina Christopher; her son, Waggner Christopher Jr.; and a stepson, Regional Christopher all of Jackson, MS; her grandkids: Shakelya Christopher, Alexis Hollis, Deshana Hollis, Katelynn Christopher, Wanagiah Christopher, Maderro Christopher, JaQuille Christopher, Javeyah Chambers and Regan Christopher all of Jackson, Ms.; three brothers: William Crump, Jr. of Jackson, MS; Anthony Crump (Linda) of Greenville, MS; and Kevin Crump ( Katina) of Terry, Ms; one sister, Wanda Robinson of Jackson, MS; and a host of other family members.
