Mrs. Louise Taylor affectionately known by many as "Mama Neicy" was the fifth child born to Jessie and Frances McClendon, born October 25, 1925, in Hinds County, Mississippi. Louise attended Smith Robinson Elementary School and Lanier Junior and Senior High School.

At an early age, Louise accepted Christ and was a long-time member of Pearlie Grove M.B. Church under the leadership of the Reverend L.S. Sorrell where she attended until her health failed. Louise was married to the late Joe Taylor and to this beautiful and loving union, three daughters were born. 

On Monday, April 8, 2019, "Mama Neicy" transitioned peacefully unto the Lord in Jackson, Mississippi.


Visitation hours will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019, between the hours of 12-7 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home located at 886 N. Farish Street - Jackson, Mississippi 39202

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 12:30 p.m. at New Strangers Home, located at 143 Sidway Street - Jackson, Mississippi 39202

Interment will follow at Garden Memorial Cemetery
