Mrs. Sallie Mae Williams t was born September 9, 1921, to the late Robert and Sarah Caldwell in Madison, Mississippi. She was united in matrimony to the late Reverend Willie Williams. To this union, eleven children were born.

Sallie confessed Christ at an early age at Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Canton, Mississippi.  She later moved to Jackson, Mississippi where she joined White Oak M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Reverend B.L. Shelby where she served on the Usher Board and as a choir member. Later in life, she moved her membership to King Jesus Church under the leadership of Elder Sam Williams where she served as a faithful member until her health failed.


Visitation hours will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019, from 12-7 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home, located at 886 N. Farish Street - Jackson, Mississippi 39202

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at White Oak M. B. Church - 234 Hillcrest Street - Jackson, Mississippi 39206
